Transition Evergreen is a publicly traded fund that invests into climate solutions, not a company directly enabling climate solutions themselves, as of our 2025 review.

Corep Lighting is a French firm that specializes in lamp shades and recess lighting. While they do offer LEDs, most of their revenue comes from shades, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

BayWa generated about 24% of their revenue from developing and owning wind and solar farms in Europe with most of their revenue coming from their other business segments like agriculture and traditional energy as of our 2025 review.

Siemens is a large conglomerate with headquarters in Germany. As of our 2025 review, they generated about 43% from their building automation and mobility businesses (trains) but the rest is from non-climate solutions, so we exclude them.

2G Energy AG makes combined heat and power generators with a range of inputs, including hydrogen and biogas. But generators for these two fuel sources only made up ~20% of their overall revenue in 2022, falling short of the 50% threshold, again in our 2025 review.

While HMS Bergbau does mine and refine some critical minerals, it generates a majority of its revenue from coal, so we exclude them

While va-Q-tec only makes insulation, a Drawdown solution, a majority of its business is for insulated packaging of food and healthcare items, rather than insulation for the built environment, again true in our 2025 review.

Manz made only 36% of their revenue from their battery and electric mobility segment as of our 2025 review, so we exclude them.

DEUTZ is a German provider of off-highway support for gas and diesel engines. While they do have a green segment of their business it only generated 0.24% of their revenue as of our 2025 review.

ABO Energy is a German renewable energy developer with wind, solar, and battery storage projects throughout Europe.

EnBW is a German electrical utility and service provider that generates much of their electricity from coal and natural gas as of our 2025 review, so we exclude them.

SFC is a German based companies that specializes in fuel cell based systems for off-grid power that run off either hydrogen or methanol, neither of which produces GHG emissions when burned.

Bilfinger is a German engineering firm that provides a range of engineering service to the utility sector. It is unclear how much of their revenue comes from servicing climate solutions such as nuclear and renewables and how much from fossil fuel fired plants and general construction activities, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

Aurubis is a German metals producer that generated about 25% of its revenue from recycling copper scraps, but 75% from refining and selling metal from virgin sources, so we exclude it as of our 2025 review.

Singulus is a German manufacturing firm that generated 53% of their revenue from building coatings and other products used in the solar industry.

Mainova is a large German utility. As of our 2025 review, they own 6 power plants that produce a majority of their electricity from coal and gas so we exclude them. They also generate about 27% of their revenue from district heating, which is notable!

Sono Group is a German company that specializes in providing the ability to add solar power to buses and other vehicles so they can charge on the go!

Global PVQ claims to be a German manufacturer or solar cells but we could find no online information to confirm again as of our 2025 review. They may no longer be in business.

Arn. Georg seems to no longer have an online presence and the only information we can find about them is they are a real estate development company, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.
