Legrand is a large French conglomerate while they generate some revenue from climate solutions like LEDs, they also generate revenue from many other products and services in the construction industry. We could not find a detailed enough breakdown, so we exclude them for now.

Alstom is a French manufacturer of railway trains most of which are used to move people, thus enabling the expansion and improvement of Mass Transit. They also make many electric train models.

Arverne Group is a French developer of geothermal energy, a zero-carbon electricity source.

Assystem is a French engineering services company that generated over half of its revenue from helping build nuclear, renewable, and hydrogen power plants and grid expansion activities.

La Francaise de l'Energie is a French provider of electricity that from local sources like solar and captured methane from agriculture and abandoned mines.

AFYREN is a French biotech company that has developed innovative methods for fermenting agricultural waste to generate multiple chemicals that are traditionally derived from petroleum, including food preservatives.

Ecoslops recycles oil residues and things like used motor oil into fuels that can be used again. While recycling is a Drawdown solution, we exclude Ecoslops because their business is reliant upon the continued use of fossil fuels

HF Company is a French tech firm that does offer some smart grid products that can help the grid run more efficiently, but they generate most of their revenue from serving other non-climate solution industries like telecoms

Gaussin specializes in manufacturing electric versions of industrial vehicles like those that operate in ports and haul pallets.

Troc is a French online consignment store that connects sellers of second hand goods with buyers, reducing the demand for new goods.

Compagnie de Chemins is a historic railroad manufacturing company in France. While they do build passenger cars and electric trains, they also build many other elements of railroads and they do not break down their revenue by segment.

Hopium is a French company that manufactures vehicles that run on hydrogen in France, a zero-tailpipe emissions fuel.

Frey is a real estate developer in France that is admirably focused on making its buildings more sustainable. They are not included, however, as they are an implementer, not an enabler of climate solutions, as of our 2025 review.
