Finolex is an Indian producer of electrical cables that are primarily used in home and electronic uses rather than grid expansion, so we exclude them.

RITES is an Indian consulting firm that specializes in helping plan and build infrastructure. While they do build some railways, most of their revenue comes from other segments like roadways and airports.

The Tata Power company is a large Indian utility that generates some of its power from hydropower, but most from coal and gas, so we exclude them

Cords Cable is an Indian cable manufacturer. While they do make some cables for use in expanding the electrical grid, they make others for a variety of other use cases and they do not provide a revenue breakdown by segment.

Exicom Tele-Systems generates a majority of its revenue from installing EV chargers at homes and businesses in India, thus enabling more people to charge their vehicles with electricity instead of filling with gas.

Insolation Energy is an Indian pure play provider of solar panels, equipment, and related devices like solar powered street lights.

Titagarh is a rail system manufacturer in India that generated 89% of its revenue from freight and only 11% from passenger (mass transit), so we exclude them

Jupiter Wagons is an Indian manufacturer of rail cars. While they do make passenger rail cars, which enable the climate solution of mass transportation, they generate most of their revenue from freight cars, which are not considered a climate solution.

TCM is an Indian Conglomerate that earns more from trading chemicals and medical supplies than from its renewables business, so we exclude them.

IKIO Lighting is an Indian lighting manufacturer that generates a majority of its revenue from designing and distributing LEDs that produce the same light with far less energy needed.

JMG Corporation is an interesting company from a climate solutions standpoint. While they do offer ESG and net zero plan services to companies, these are not direct climate solutions, so we do not count them. They do consult in biogas, but this is a minority of their revenue.

Rajnandini Metal generates a majority of its revenue from refining and producer copper rods which are necessary for a range of climate solutions from grid expansion to electrical motors.

GAIL is an Indian gas distributor that makes 78% of its revenue from distributing natural gas and only a fraction of that from biogas.

Texmaco is an Indian building of railcars and rail-related products. It generated 79% of its revenue from freight-related products, so we exclude them, as we only consider passenger related trains to be a climate solution as of our 2025 review.

GMR Power and Urban Infra is an Indian construction firm. While they do build renewable energy plants and mass transit systems, both climate solutions, they generate more of their revenue from other construction activities like factories, roadways, and apartment buildings.

Rungta Irrigation is an Indian provider of irrigation equipment like tubing, drip systems, and sprinklers. While they seem to aspire to water and energy savings, it is unclear how much more efficient their products are vs. industry standard, so we exclude them for now but will revisit.

Geekay Wires is an Indian manufacturer of steel wires. While some of these are used in the power transmission industry, most of their use cases are not for climate solutions like barbed wire or mesh fences, so we exclude them.

Epic Energy is an Indian pure play climate solution company that generates its revenue from renewable energy development and selling building automation devices.

The KCP is an Indian cement manufacturer that also owns a number of power plants. Unfortunately cement is not a climate solution and most of their power comes from thermal sources, so we exclude them.
