Zeneris is a Polish construction firm that specializes in deploying solar, building hydropower, and managing waterways.

Govena Lighting is a Polish electronics manufacturing firm. They do make LED lights, but they also make low voltage transformers and dimmers which are not climate solutions. They provide very little detail beyond this, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

Farmy Fotowoltaika Polska is a Polish solar developer

Apator makes a range of electricity and water sensors and actuators that make it possible for building owners to remotely measure their utilities and take action based on those measurements thus increasing their energy efficiency.

LUG is a Polish lighting company that uses LEDs in a majority of its lighting products, enabling the production of the same light just with less energy.

Dadelo is a Polish online bike retailer. While they do sell e-bikes, they generate more revenue from traditional bicycles, which are not a direct climate solution.

Semapa is a Portuguese paper and cardboard company. While they do integrate recycled pulp into their paper, it's not a majority of their sourcing, so we exclude them.

Corticeira Amorim is a Portuguese cork farming company. Cork is a highly sustainable material as it can be harvested while keeping the trees in tact and healthy and the unique properties of cork make it a valuable product in many industrial applications

Martifer is a Portuguese construction company that does build solar and wind farms, but generates a majority of their revenue from constructing buildings and ships, as of our 2025 review.

EDP is a Portuguese energy developer that generated over 75% of its revenue from wind power with additional revenue from expanding the grid.

Electromagnetica is a Romanian company that generates a majority of their revenue from selling electricity from hydropower and electronic climate solutions like EV charging systems and LEDs.

In our 2025 review we are moving SC Compania Energopetrol to Pureplay as they generate all of their revenue from building and maintaining the electrical grid in Romania, a key precursor to the electrification of everything.

Societatea Energetica Electrica is a Romanian distributor of electricity but it is unclear if they meet our utility filter as they do not publish their generation mix anywhere we can find as of our 2025 review.

S.P.E.E.H. Hidroelectrica is a Romanian electricity provider that generates more electricity from oil than hydro.

S.C. Foraj Sonde is a Romanian drilling company that generates more of its revenue from drilling for fossil fuels than for geothermal energy.

Electromontaj Carpati is a Romanian construction firm that generates most of its revenue from two climate solutions: expanding the electrical grid and electrifying railways.

S.C. Dafora is a Romanian drilling company that generates more revenue from drilling oil wells than geothermal, so we exclude them.

Transgex is a Romanian firm that specializes in drilling and operating geothermal wells and power plants in Romania that can produce zero carbon energy using the heat of the earth.
