Oceancash Pacific is a Malaysian manufacturer of felts and nonwoven absorbent materials like those used in diapers. They use over 80% recycled materials in their felts, but we could not find a breakdown of their felt vs. nonwoven revenue in our 2025 review, so we exclude them.

ECA makes automation solutions that specifically enable the more efficient manufacturing of some climate solutions like renewables and electric cars, but they do not share how much revenue they generate from these industries vs. their other customers, which again was true in our 2025 review.

Guan Chong is a Malaysian producer and processor of cocoa beans for chocolate. While cocoa is a perennial staple, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of natural forests, which is not beneficial from a climate perspective as of our 2025 review

DSR Taiko Berhad is a large producer of Durian, a perennial fruit grown in SE Asia. We do not include them as we are wary of perennials that are generally grown in areas that used to be old growth forest. Even though they are perennials, the climate impact of cutting down the existing forest is far more negative as of our 2025 review

Cypark is a Malaysian renewable energy developer with a range of solar projects, from utility scale, to agriculture-integrated, to floating through the country. They also operate a waste to energy plant and biogas plants. They also manage some waste management facilities

Southern Cable Group is a Malaysian provider of electricity cables that enable the expansion of the electricity grid, a key climate solution as well as cables for other purposes like telecoms

Pekat Group is a Malaysian installer of solar systems and indoor lighting systems that use LEDs. They also generate some revenue from generic electrical installation services

MN Holdings is a utilities engineering company in Malaysia that specializes in electrical transmission cables. They also build substations for utilities. Both are needed when expanding the grid. They also generate revenue from building telecoms systems, which is related, but not a climate solution.

Perak Transit owns multiple public transit hubs in Malaysia, thus making it easier for people to choose mass transit instead of driving in individual cars, an important climate solution.

Pestech, a Malaysian company, engages in a range of climate solutions. It plans and builds transmission lines to expand the electrical grid. It helps railways electrify. And it has building automation services to help buildings use energy more efficiently as well as waste to energy plants.

Since our 2023 review, Epicon has narrowed its focus from mass transit operation to traditional construction activities, so we remove them in our 2025 review.

Tex Cycle is a Malaysian recycling company that filters heavy metals out of industrial waste so they can be reused. They also have a biogas plant and install solar farms

Sarawak Cable is a Malaysian producer of cables and other equipment like steel towers used in the electrical grid transmission system. They also operate a mini hydro plant.

Ta Win is a copper wire manufacturing company whose products are used in electricity transmission and electric motors, both key parts of the energy transition.

Seremban Engineering is a Malaysian construction firm. While they have built a waste to energy plant, they also engage in multiple non-climate solution construction activities. We cannot find a revenue breakdown, so we exclude them in our 2025 review.

Trive Property Group is a Malaysian company that engages in a range of climate solutions. They build solar farms and trade solar panels. They install energy storage systems and EV batteries.

Gemilang is a Malaysian manufacturer of buses that help enable the important climate solution of mass transportation. They also make an increasing part of their revenue from electric buses

TrickeStar is a Malaysian company that offers a suite of smart home devices that help devices turn on and off at the appropriate times so they can save power and money, enabling the important solutions of building automation and smart homes.

Samaiden Group is a Malaysian solar developer building and operating projects throughout the country, that help the grid run with fewer emissions.

Powerwell Holdings is a Malaysian producer of electrical distribution equipment that is necessary for expanding the electrical grid, a key precursor to the electrification of everything.
