Merdeka Battery Materials is a mining company that extracts nickel and cobalt in Indonesia, two minerals that are both critical for the energy transition and scaling up of batteries for storing electricity. They also generate some revenue from collecting hazardous waste.

TBK is an Indonesian mining company that focuses on the mining and production of nickel, a critical mineral for the energy transition. They also make some revenue from processing other minerals, but a majority if from nickel.

Southern Cable Group is a Malaysian provider of electricity cables that enable the expansion of the electricity grid, a key climate solution as well as cables for other purposes like telecoms

Barramundi group is an aquaculture company based in Singapore that sells barramundi and a range of other farmed fish. Aquaculture is a very resource intensive process, so improving its energy efficiency is a climate solution, but we could find no clear evidence that Barramundi Group was providing products or technologies that enable improved aquaculture, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review

Axelum Resources group is a Filipino manufacturer and distributor of coconut products. While coconut is a perennial fruit, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of wild, natural forests, which move us backwards from a climate perspective as of our 2025 review.

JP Foods is a Malaysian producer and processor of cocoa beans for chocolate. While cocoa is a perennial staple, the expansion of the industry often comes at the expense of natural forests, which is not beneficial from a climate perspective, as of our 2025 review.

Maxindo Karya Anugerah sells root-based snacks in Indonesia. We included them for a closer look to see if they could be included as a perennial staple company, but as the harvesting of the roots involves fundamentally killing the plant, we exclude them, again as of our 2025 review.

PT Sepeda Bersama is a large distributor of bicycles in Indonesia. While our climate benefits the more who ride bikes, they do not seem to do much for electric bikes which more traditionally replace fossil fuels for commutes.

We do not include them as we are wary of perennials that are generally grown in areas that used to be old growth forest. Even though they are perennials, the climate impact of cutting down the existing forest is far more negative as of our 2025 review

PetroVietnam Power Engineering says they generate revenue from constructing renewable power plants, but all we could find are thermal construction projects and offshore oil and gas support, so we exclude them in our 2025 review.

Power Engineering Consulting is a design firm in Vietnam that helps design renewable energy farms (solar, wind, and hydro), as well as electrical grid projects, both important climate solutions. While they have built one thermal power plant, they have generated more revenue from their climate solution construction projects, so we include them as of our 2025 review.

Green Building Technology is a Singapore based company that generates a majority of its revenue from refurbishing old estates to be energy efficient and digging underground tunnels for grid expansion, both climate solutions

GEOGRACE is a mining company based in the Philippines. It does not specifically state what it mines for, so we exclude it as of our 2025 review

Nippecraft is a manufacturer of paper products like notebooks and journals that sources 95% of its paper pulp from recycled paper.

Haiphong Electricity Water Machine Assembly is a Vietnamese provider of electrical equipment, much of which seems to be used in the electrical grid. They also provide products and services for the distribution of clean water. We could not find any additional information on their revenue breakdown between the two, so we exclude them again in our 2025 review.
