Thai Agro Energy makes ethanol based biofuels. We do not consider ethanol biofuels to be a climate solution unless they are derived from waste products.

Tin Nghia is a construction company in Vietnam. While it does engage in recycling, it is a very small part of its business, so we exclude them as of our 2025 review.

Dry Cell and Storage Battery is a Vietnamese battery manufacturer. While they do make some batteries for use in electric vehicles and energy storage a majority of their revenue comes from traditional car batteries as of our 2025 review.

Tiasang Battery is a Vietnamese battery company. While they do sell some batteries for use in climate solutions like e-bikes, they make more of their revenue from traditional automobile batteries, again in our 2025 review.

CIC39 is a Vietnamese conglomerate that operates in construction and a range of other industries, such as forestry. While it generates some revenue from grid expansion, most of it comes from other parts of its business, as of our 2025 review.

IDICO Urban and House Development is a Vietnamese construction firm that, as of our 2025 review, generates a majority of its revenue from expanding the grid and other grid-related activities.

Viet Thai Electric Cable Corporation generates a majority of their revenue from providing electrical cabling in Vietnam that enables the grid to expand and the electrification of everything.

Ninh Binh Thermal Power is in the business of constructing power plants. While some are renewable, they focus more on fossil-fuel powered electricity (unsurprising given its name) as well as a variety of non-energy related business lines.

Ego Vietnam is a Vietnamese producer of animal proteins, mainly goat and wild pig meat. They do make some revenue from installing solar farms, but this is a minority of their business as of our 2025 review.

Mien Dong is a Vietnamese construction company. While they do build hydropower plants, they generate more revenue from more typical construction projects like buildings as of our 2025 review.

While Post and Telecommunication Equipment JSC is a Vietnamese manufacturing firm involved in expanding the electrical grid, it generates more revenue from expanding the telecommunications grid as of our 2025 review.

Haiphong Electricity Water Machine Assembly is a Vietnamese provider of electrical equipment, much of which seems to be used in the electrical grid. They also provide products and services for the distribution of clean water. We could not find any additional information on their revenue breakdown between the two, so we exclude them again in our 2025 review.

Truong Tinh Energy is a Vietnamese electrical utility that generates electricity with hydropower, a carbon free source of electricity.

Nam Mu Hydropower JSC is a Vietnamese construction firm that builds hydropower plants and manages a part of the electrical grid, both climate solutions.

Duc Long Gia Lai Group is a Vietnamese conglomerate involved in multiple industries. While they do engage in renewables they generate more revenue from agriculture and non-climate solution industries as per our 2025 review.

Hanoi Battery makes batteries in Vietnam, but they provide no information on the kind of batteries they make, so we exclude them for lack of information again in our 2025 review. We could also find no information about their battery brand "Rabbit Battery"

Power Engineering Consulting is a design firm in Vietnam that helps design renewable energy farms (solar, wind, and hydro), as well as electrical grid projects, both important climate solutions. While they have built one thermal power plant, they have generated more revenue from their climate solution construction projects, so we include them as of our 2025 review.

VNECO 8 Electricity Construction is a Vietnamese construction firm that generates a majority of its revenue from grid construction projects, an important part of the energy transition.
