Enertime makes machines that capture waste heat from industrial processes and turns it into electricity or usable heat in industrial processes. They do not provide a revenue breakdown for how much they made from retrofitting fossil-fuel fired operations vs. non fossil-fuel fired operations, so we therefore do not include them.

Aurea is a recycling and industrial recycling company in France that makes products like new tires from recycled old tires along with a broad range of other heavy duty recycled products.

Ecoslops recycles oil residues and things like used motor oil into fuels that can be used again. While recycling is a Drawdown solution, we exclude Ecoslops because their business is reliant upon the continued use of fossil fuels.

Carbios creates enzyme based solutions to break down plastic back into its component parts so it can be remade into new plastic without a loss in quality.

While Lucibel does make LED lights, they are not focused on replacing energy-intensive incandescent bulbs, but instead creating high-end lighting technology such as LEDs that mimic natural daylight or light-based internet connections. Because neither solution is built to replace more energy-intensive bulbs, we mark them as "No Drawdown Solution".

Fermentalg develops and processes new strains of algae to deliver high quality food products like Omega 3's purely derived from plants, thus lowering the demand for animal agriculture.
