Climeon makes a system that captures wasted heat and converts it into electricity. A majority of their revenue comes from doing this on shipping container ships, thus making shipping more efficient because less fuel is needed to generate onboard electricity.

OCI, based in the Netherlands, uses hydrogen to produce two important global materials: nitrogen and ammonia for crop fertilizer and methanol which can be used in shipping. While they seem committed to transitioning to a decarbonized methods of producing such products, a majority today is produced from fossil fuels.

Meriaura is a European ocean shipping company that owns some wind and solar farms and is also developing renewable biofuels for ships. As most of their revenue seems to come from the shipping itself rather than the Drawdown solutions, we exclude them for lack of information.

Wartsila is based in Finland and is focused on helping the maritime and electricity sectors decarbonize, but most of their revenue still comes from traditional fossil-fuel burning engines and power plants.

Fernheizwerk generates 100% of its revenue from selling District Heating to residences and buildings in Berlin. While it still primarily uses fossil fuels for this heating, it is a far more efficient use of energy than individual heating of spaces.

ChromoGenics is a Swedish manufacturer of dynamic and high performance glass that helps buildings stay better insulated and require less energy.

Mainova is a large German utility that offers some climate solutions such as renewable electricity and district heating. It is unclear how much of their revenue they make from non-climate solutions such as fossil-fuel powered electricity and natural gas distribution, so we exclude them.

Solar A/S operates out of Denmark and specializes in sourcing materials and components for construction projects. While it aims to source as many low-carbon, energy-efficient materials, such an activity is not a direct climate solution, so we exclude them.

While Deutsche Rohstoff does explore for some critical minerals, principally copper and lithium, it generates a majority of its revenue from oil and natural gas, so they are excluded.

While Clontarf is exploring for lithium, it makes the majority of its revenue from oil and gas.

Chameleon Smart Home is a Hungarian designer and installer of smart home systems that reduce energy usage.

Verbio makes advanced biofuels in Germany that use agricultural waste to make fuels that can replace fossil fuels.

Siemens is a very large conglomerate with headquarters in Germany. While it does work on some climate solutions such as electric mobility, it generates a majority of its revenue from its other business lines and is therefore excluded.

Ecoclime is a Swedish company that sells a range of products that improve and enhance the energy efficiency of buildings, both passively through better insulation and actively through automation.

Robot specializes in creating and installing building automation systems with a historical focus on hotels so they can use energy more efficiently.

Apator makes a range of electricity and water sensors and actuators that make it possible for building owners to remotely measure their utilities and take action based on those measurements thus increasing their energy efficiency.

WindowMaster, operating out of Denmark, enables buildings to automate the opening and closing of their windows to reduce their energy usage for heating and cooling, thus enabling the climate solution of Building Automation.

Aalberts is based out of the Netherlands and offers a range of products for the automation of how liquids flow through buildings thus enabling them to be more energy efficient.
