Fruticola Viconto is a Chilean grower of various stone fruits, apples, and nuts. Because stone fruits, apples, and nuts can produce calories each year without being harvested we include them as a climate solution. The trees are also less likely to be tied to the destruction of rainforests like tropical plantations are such as palm oil, coffee, and cocoa.

Compania Electrica del Litoral is a Chilean electrical utility. They do not provide a breakdown of the sources of their generated electricity, so we exclude them.

Invexans is a Chilean conglomerate. While they do make copper cables that can be used in expanding the grid, they also own many Shell branded gas stations in Chile. They do not disclose their revenue breakdown from each (their latest reports are from 2020).

Enel Americas is a major electrical utility in Latin America. It fails our utility filter because it does not generate all of its electricity from carbon-free sources.

Ecopetrol is an energy company in Columbia that generates a majority of its revenue from oil. It also makes biodiesel and grid expansion, both climate solutions.

La Reserva Forestal is an Ecuadorian company that seems to be in the food production business. They have no additional information that indicates they are actually involved in reforestation projects, so we exclude them.
